Working with Fly Higher World (FHI)
FHI is a nonprofit organization that aims to inculcate 21st-century skills & competencies in the youth of India. These skills include critical thinking, problem-solving ability, digital literacy, and much more.
I have been associated with FHI Ahmedabad since February 2020, and as a part of their blogging team, I have written several articles for their website (Links mentioned below).
The unique thing about FHI is its ideology to encourage children through customized activity-based programs instead of traditional pedagogy. The programs are based on utilitarian themes such as mindfulness, moral values, and life skills, which complements a child's scholastic education.
Aside from widely known events and visits to schools and orphanages, FHI also conducts numerous recreational activities and interactive sessions for its volunteers.
TLDR: FHI is a wonderful platform to engage in social work. If you are looking for a way to give back to the community, FHI is the place for you.
